3. MAIN PROJECT OVERVIEW
Bayahibe Village Inn has launc
hed the "Albergo Diffuso" or dispersed hotel concept. It is composed of various houses, rooms, and apartments managed as a single unit, offering a range of services less than 150 meters from each other and the main lobby, providing a rich Caribbean experience and supporting local businesses.
4. UNLOCKING OPPORTUNITIES
Our program offers an enriching experience, with educational classes, professional experiences, and community projects, designed to foster cultural understanding and academic excellence.
4.1 Accommodations and Intern Benefits
* Accommodation: Provided in dormitories with up to six people, possibly mixed gender.
* Upgrade Possibilities:
* Single room: $600, including expenses
* Double room: $400 per person, including expenses
* Meals: Two meals per day; ingredients for self-prepared lunches.
* Insurance: Mandatory health insurance.
* Training and Safety: Comprehensive health and safety training provided.
* Extended Opportunities: Options to extend internships or transition to different roles.
5. TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF AGREEMENT
* Host Regulations: Interns must comply with all host regulations and legal requirements of the Dominican Republic.
* Code of Conduct: Interns are expected to behave respectfully and responsibly.
* Laws of the Land: Adherence to local laws is mandatory; interns handle legal matters personally.
* Program Activities: Participation in all scheduled activities is required.
* Disciplinary Procedures/Program Dismissal: Misconduct may result in dismissal from the program. In severe cases, immediate termination of participation may occur. Interns can also terminate their participation freely, as outlined in the terms and conditions of the Worldpackers platform, without any prior notice. Immediate expulsion in serious cases is enforced.
* Modification/Cancellation: The host reserves the right to modify or cancel the program.
* Insurance: Interns must carry comprehensive international travel insurance.
* End of Program: The host's responsibility ends with the program’s conclusion.
* Arbitration and Venue: Disputes will be settled in Dominican Republic courts under Dominican law.
* Severability: If any part of this agreement is found to be invalid, the remainder will still apply.
6. CONSENT FOR PHOTOS AND VIDEOS
Interns agree to be photographed and recorded for promotional and educational purposes.
